Wonderful Women Tribe (“WWT,” “we,” “us”) is a women’s community based in San Diego, California. These Terms explain how our website, event RSVPs, membership, and gatherings work, and what we ask of everyone who takes part. We’ve kept them as plain as we can.
1. Agreement to these Terms
By using wonderfulwomentribe.com, submitting an RSVP or membership application, paying a fee, or attending a WWT gathering, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, please don’t use our website or services.
2. Eligibility & applications
WWT membership is for women aged 18 and over. Membership is by application and is based on mutual fit with the values and culture of the tribe. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance, and we may decline or defer an application at our discretion. You agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you’ll keep it up to date.
3. Membership & fees
Membership runs for twelve months from the date your membership is activated. Current annual rates are:
♥  Founding Member — $1,200 per year, limited to the first 50 accepted members.
♥  Member (51 and beyond) — $1,500 per year.
You may pay in full or in 11 monthly installments — $119 per month for Founding members, $149 per month for Members. Payment is taken at checkout, right after you submit your application, and is processed securely by Stripe. Choosing installments is a commitment to the full annual fee; by selecting it you authorize us to charge your payment method each month until the balance is paid. If a payment fails, we’ll let you know and give you 14 days to update your details before member access is paused.
Your rate is fixed for the membership year you purchase. Memberships do not renew automatically — we’ll contact you at least 30 days before your year ends with renewal options and any change in pricing.
4. Cancellations & refunds
If your membership application isn’t accepted, any payment you’ve made will be refunded in full within 5 business days. If you change your mind, you may cancel within 7 days of your first membership payment for a full refund, provided you haven’t yet attended a members-only gathering. After that, membership fees are non-refundable and any remaining installments stay due for the membership year, except where a refund is required by law.
We understand life happens. If you face a serious hardship, email us — we’ll review requests individually and may offer a pause, transfer, or partial credit at our discretion.
5. Guests & drop-ins
Not ready to join? You may attend a monthly gathering as a guest for $150, up to two times before applying for membership. Guest fees are non-refundable, but may be moved to another monthly gathering if you let us know at least 48 hours before the event. Newsletters, member spotlights, and the private online community are for members only.
6. Events & RSVPs
Space at our gatherings is limited, so an RSVP is required. An RSVP holds a place for you and any guests you list; please update us if your plans change so we can offer the space to someone else. Some events are invite-only, and we may limit or decline RSVPs once an event is full.
We may need to change an event’s date, time, venue, or programme. If we cancel an event you paid to attend, you’ll receive a full refund or, if you prefer, a credit toward a future gathering.
We share dietary notes with our venues and caterers and do our best to accommodate them, but we can’t guarantee that food is free of any particular allergen.
7. Community standards
WWT works because everyone shows up with kindness and good faith. At gatherings, in our private online community, and anywhere you represent WWT, you agree to:
♥  Keep it connection-first — no soliciting, hard pitches, recruiting for network-marketing or multi-level marketing businesses, or adding members to mailing lists without their permission.
♥  Treat every woman with respect. Harassment, discrimination, bullying, or intimidation of any kind isn’t tolerated.
♥  Honour confidentiality. What members share in the room or in private groups stays there unless they say otherwise.
♥  Respect our venues, hosts, and teachers, and follow their house rules.
If these standards aren’t met, we may issue a warning, ask you to leave an event, or suspend or end your membership. Membership ended for a serious or repeated breach is not eligible for a refund.
8. Photos & recordings
We love to capture our gatherings. Photos, video, and audio taken at WWT events may appear in our newsletter, on social media, our podcast, YouTube, and this website. By attending, you consent to being included. If you’d rather not be photographed, tell us at check-in or email us and we’ll make every reasonable effort to leave you out and remove existing images on request.
Member spotlights are always opt-in: we’ll never feature your story or business without your approval of what’s published.
9. Retreats
Retreats are priced and booked separately from annual membership. Members receive priority registration and early-registration savings. Each retreat has its own registration terms, including deposits, payment dates, and cancellation rules, which will be shared with you before you book and form part of these Terms.
10. Assumption of risk
Our gatherings can include activities such as painting, movement, outings, and travel. Participation is always voluntary. You’re responsible for your own health, conduct, transportation, and belongings, and for choosing what you eat and drink. Please let us know about anything that would help us keep you safe and comfortable.
11. Website, content & third parties
The Wonderful Women Tribe name, logo, flower mark, and the content on this website belong to WWT. Please don’t copy or reuse them without our written permission. When you share content with us — like a spotlight story or photo — you keep ownership and give us permission to use it to run and promote WWT.
We rely on trusted third-party services such as Stripe for payments and Facebook and Instagram for our private community. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.
12. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
WWT is a community, not a professional advisory service. Conversations, speakers, and member recommendations are shared for connection and inspiration, not as business, financial, legal, or medical advice. Our website and services are provided “as is.”
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WWT will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. You agree to indemnify WWT against claims arising from your breach of these Terms or your conduct at our events. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived under California law.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. If a concern comes up, please email us first — most things can be resolved with a conversation. If we can’t resolve it within 30 days, either of us may bring the matter before the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
14. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms as WWT grows. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above, and for material changes we’ll notify members by email. Continuing to use our services after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
